Notre Dame CB Leonard Moore makes On3's preseason All-American list

Notre Dame Fighting Irish cornerback Leonard Moore has made yet another preseason awards or All-American list.

This time it's On3, and he's not alone among Notre Dame players. Several of his teammates are also on the list.

That includes offensive lineman Anthonie Knapp, who also keeps earning preseason honors.

Here's what On3 says about Moore: "One of the top returning defenders in college football, Moore had five interceptions a year ago after picking off two passes as a true freshman. When teams do throw Moore’s way, he’s a blanket. Over his two seasons with the Irish, he’s allowed just 4.8 yards per target. He moved to the slot against USC’s Makai Lemon last season and held him to two catches for 28 yards. On a Notre Dame defense that should be Marcus Freeman’s best yet, the 6-2, 197-pound Moore will be a staple. He’s a physical cornerback who has forced three fumbles during his career."

Other Fighting Irish on the list include Knapp, linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa and safety Brauntae Johnson.

If Notre Dame's players live up to the preseason hype, this should be a fun season for Irish fans.
