Lake Mary softball wraps up its run at the 2026 Little League Softball World Series in the third-place game today against Toms River, New Jersey.
Lake Mary's baseball team won it all in 2024, but lost in the Southeast regional title game in 2025 before falling to Chaires-Capitola in this year's Florida state tournament. Their softball counterparts have picked up the mantle, reaching last year's LLSWS before playing all the way to the final day this year.

The Florida girls opened with two wins by a resounding 29-0 score before losing to North Carolina. A 5-0 win in an elimination game earned them a rematch, but North Carolina bested them again 4-0 in the semifinals. They'll play Owensboro, Kentucky in the championship later today.
