Kaizer Chiefs confirm new home venue

Kaizer Chiefs will host two Betway Premiership matches at Royal Bafokeng Stadium this season. The club confirmed the venue on its official fixtures list. The stadium is located in Rustenburg.
The first match will take place on 5 September. Kaizer Chiefs will host Siwelele FC. Amakhosi’s second fixture in the North West is scheduled for 15 December. TS Galaxy will travel to Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

KAIZER CHIEFS CONFIRM RUSTENBURG RETURN
The return to Royal Bafokeng Stadium gives supporters in the North West another chance to watch Amakhosi. The venue has hosted several Kaizer Chiefs matches in previous seasons. It has also staged major domestic and international fixtures.
The remaining home Betway Premiership fixtures are expected to be played at the club’s usual venues.
AMAKHOSI AIM TO BUILD ON PROGRESS
Kaizer Chiefs secured a third-place finish in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership, marking a significant improvement on the previous campaign. The club showed greater consistency under the leadership of Nasreddine Nabi, Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze, recovering from a mid-season dip to record their highest points tally in several years.
Flávio Silva led the attack with 10 league goals in 31 appearances, while Glody Lilepo contributed nine goals during an impressive campaign.

Mfundo Vilakazi and Mduduzi Shabalala provided creativity in the final third, while Lebohang Maboe added balance and consistency after an excellent debut season in midfield.
Amakhosi also marked their return to the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the Nedbank Cup. They recorded notable victories over ZESCO United and Al Masry in Group D, although they narrowly missed out on a place in the knockout stages.
Their third-place league finish secured qualification for the continental competition once again, ensuring another opportunity to compete on the African stage.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs are now preparing for their MTN8 quarter-final. Amakhosi will face Golden Arrows on Sunday. The match will take place at FNB Stadium. Kick-off is at 18:00.
