7 new 49ers pop up on practice injury report for Wednesday
· Yahoo Sports
The San Francisco 49ers are back on the practice field at their SAP Performance Facility on Wednesday, but they'll be without a slew of players who are battling injuries.
Visit esporist.org for more information.
According to those on the scene, the following players aren't participating in Wednesday's session, not including those on injury lists:
- DE Nick Bosa (soreness)
- LB Dre Greenlaw (soreness)
- DE Osa Odighizuwa (soreness)
- FB Kyle Juszczyk (finger fracture)
- WR Jacob Cowing (hip flexor)
- WR Mike Evans (quad)
- WR De'Zhaun Stribling (hamstring)
- OL Carver Willis (concussion protocol)
- OL Brett Toth (unspecified)
Bosa, Greenlaw and Odighizuwa shouldn't be much too worry about, but Cowing, Juszczyk, Willis and Toth are all new additions to this list, and they could. While we don't know why Toth isn't participating yet, Cowing, Juszczyk could miss a decent chunk of practice time.
If there's any positive news, it's that defensive lineman Grace Halton is back after dealing with a bone bruise.
