Tyla’s ‘A*POP World Tour’: Johannesburg, Cape Town dates announced

Local singing sensation, Tyla, is going on tour to promote her studio album A*Pop. Aptly called the A*Pop World Tour, dates for the South Africa leg of the tour have been added.

Tyla will be at Cape Town’s Green Point Track on 4 January 2027, and then grace Johannesburg‘s Expo Centre, Nasrec stage on the 9 January.
The tour will start in October in Paris, France. Tickets are sold through Ticket Master, but have not been opened for the SA dates yet.
Tyla is a Johannesburg native who grew up in Edenvale.
She became an international success in 2023 after her single Water made waves. A social media dance challenge was born from the success of the single.
She went on to win her first Grammy in the Best African Music Performance category for the song the following year, cementing the 24-year-old’s status internationally.
She claimed her second Grammy in 2026 for Push 2 Start, also in the Best African Music Performance category, beating out Burna Boy, Davido featuring Omah Lay, Ayra Starr featuring Wizkid and Eddy Kenzo & Mehran Matin.
Tyla gets over 30.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, supported by Water, which has 1.43 billion streams, and singles like Chanel and She Did It Again, reports Forbes Africa.
