The woman – who attended the funeral service over the weekend – shared on Instagram: “As much as I wanted to address the false accusations, rumours and narratives, I chose silence.
“Not because I couldn’t defend myself, but because my truth doesn’t need validation”
In the comments section, she added: “I’ve got no points to prove”.
On her TikTok, Jody shared another cryptic post.
It read: “Seeing people post and discuss things about me that I didnt even know about myself is actually insane. At this point, ya’ll know a version of me I’ve never met”
Days after Jayden Adams’s shock death, the woman revealed that she was not on good terms with him.
Jody shared that her son was born in August 2024 and that he raised him as a single mother.
She did not give any details on the timeframe or context of their relationship.
‘YOU LEFT ME’
Like the mother of his son, Jayden Adams’s partner Aqueelah Adams has also responded to social media rumours.
The young woman is the mother of the late Bafana Bafana player’s five-year-old daughter.
Social media trolls have blamed her for his death after a bombshell media report claimed that the couple had argued about money and friends in the lead-up to him allegedly taking his own life.
Aqueelah shared on Instagram: “The amount of false stories and assumptions being spread about me is heartbreaking. It’s unfair to make me the villain based on rumours. I don’t owe strangers an explanation. But I do ask for one thing; please stop spreading lies and stop using Jayden’s name to create a story”.
She added: “He deserves to be remembered with dignity and respect”
On her IG Stories, Aqueelah has been sharing clips of her relationship with Jayden Adams.
“You left me with an emptiness that will never, ever be filled.
Jayden and Aqueelah began dating in 2021 and welcomed their daughter shortly thereafter.
