The Lansing Lugnuts evens the series with Great Lakes Loons

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Lansing Lugnuts held on for a 3-1 victory over the Great Lakes Loons.

Emil Morales of the Great Lakes Loons sent a solo home run over the wall on his first pitch, to give his team the early lead in the first inning.

The Lugnuts responded back in the second inning as Bryan Arendt grounded out into a double play but in the process Daniel Bucciero would score from third for the equalizer.

In the third inning, Jared Sprague-Lott would drive in a run with a base hit to center and C.J. Pittaro would ground out to first and Jared Sprague-Lott would score from third on the fielder’s choice to make it 3-1.

The Lugnuts will face the Loons again on Saturday with first pitch schedule for 7:05p.m.
