The latest move is the Sixers will sign Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a reported 1-year $3.9 million deal after he completes a buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies. The No. 8 pick of the 2013 NBA draft, Caldwell-Pope has career averages of 11.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. He won a championship next to LeBron James with the old Angeles Lakers in 2020 as well as with the Denver Nuggets in 2023.

Caldwell-Pope has developed a reputation as a strong wing defender, which will be needed with this group, and he can knock down the 3-ball. He’s a career 36.5% shooter from downtown and his familiarity with James will be a big help for this group.
