World Supercross Championship
The World Supercross Championship (WSX) has announced Christchurch, New Zealand, as it sixth and final round of the 2026 season. The round will be held on December 5, 2026.
The round will be the first for the WSX series in New Zealand, and will be contested in the newly developed One New Zealand Stadium.
The venue is located in the city center of Christchurch, which will provide racers and fans with a vibrant setting.
"We’re incredibly excited to bring World Supercross to New Zealand for the first time," said Thomas Covington, WSX Director of Racing, in a news release. "Christchurch is the perfect setting for the final round of what will be our biggest season yet, with championship titles set to be decided in front of a passionate motorsport audience."
In addition to New Zealand, the WSX series has announced races in Canada, the United Kingdom, Argentina, and Australia.
The original schedule for WSX listed South Africa as the final of five rounds. South Africa is now listed as the fifth round with a city and date to be announced soon.
