Moneyball Pro-am wraps up regular season

HOLT, Mich. (WLNS) — In the final week of the regular season, the Moneyball Pro-Am provided a players an opportunity to take flight, as the night was full of high flying dunks through all three games.
Michigan State forward Coen Carr provided a highlight reel full of dunks as he finished with 45 points, helping lead Team Tristar to a 112-104 win over Team BLT’s.

In game two, Team LAFCU took home a 100-86 victory over Team Motorcars. Michigan State guard Jeremy Fears Jr. and former Michigan State forward Pierre Brooks II both finished with 25 points in the LAFCU win.
Brooks played at Michigan State for two seasons before transferring to Butler but says he knows he always has a home in East Lansing.
“I would say MSU is special,” stated Brooks. “They have their own little thing like grind week and stuff like that where they bring the players back. No one really does that. It’s kind of significant but I think things like this, Moneyball bring people together and really show that you can come back and still have a place to play and give back.”
Next week, the Moneyball Pro-am playoffs begin on July 28th at Holt High School.
