Indiana football has had its moments in recruiting.

Tom Allen had his moments on the field and the trail, landing multiple of the program’s highest-rated signings at the time including Dasan McCullough, son of then-running backs coach Deland McCullough. But the Hoosiers have never seen the types of prospects Curt Cignetti is landing on the recruiting trail.

Monshun Sales, a 5-star wide receiver in the class of 2027, is the program’s highest-rated commitment of all time, per 247Sports. Lukas Prock, a 4-star quarterback in the class of 2028, is right behind him at No.2. Both have committed to the program in the past seven days.

Of 247Sports’ ten highest-rated commitments in program history, six have committed under Cignetti’s watch. Of the 20 highest-rated commitments, 12 have committed under Cignetti.

Indiana, coming off of its first national championship in program history, is striking while the iron is hot.
