Is change coming to Colorado State’s athletics apparel?

Social media sleuths have been hunting for clues and answers about a rumored switch to Adidas for the Rams.
CSU has not announced a move and has not commented on apparel updates. The Coloradoan spoke with athletic director John Weber in a wide-ranging interview in late June and asked about the speculation of a change.
“I’ve heard rumors, yes,” Weber said, followed by “no” if there’s any more he can say about those.
And, finally: “I cannot confirm nor deny,” when asked if the Under Armour contract was ending.
Without more official updates from CSU, here’s what we can see at this point. CSU used to have Under Armour logos on some social media posts (but far from all of them) and no longer does.
The CSU men's basketball team hosted a July 23 practice with many former players participating and in attendance, with boosters and media members present as well. Many current Rams wore Adidas shoes. But not all, with coach Ali Farokhmanesh and center Rashaan Mbemba in Under Armour shoes while in the middle of a media press conference scrum.
Finality must come soon.
Football preseason camp begins in early August. CSU’s first official sporting event for the 2026-27 school year is a soccer match at Colorado on Aug. 12 (the soccer team plays an exhibition Aug. 5).
