Indiana football keeps gaining momentum on the recruiting trail as the staff puts together the 2027 recruiting class. But there’s always an eye on the future at the sport’s premier position.

Lukas Prock, a quarterback prospect in the class of 2028, has received an expert prediction to commit to Indiana from On3/Rivals is the vice president of recruiting and transfer portal Steve Wiltfong. Prock narrowed his recruitment to five schools earlier in July with Indiana, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame all vying for his commitment.

A prediction is a prediction, not a locked in commitment, but Wiltfong also predicted that Indiana would land Monshun Sales weeks before the latter announced his commitment to the Hoosiers.

Prock attends The Hun School of Princeton in Princeton, New Jersey. He’s rated as a 4-star prospect by Rivals, ranking in as the 5th highest-rated quarterback and 55th highest-rated prospect overall in the class of 2027. He’s also rated as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports, where he’s the 7th highest-rated quarterback and 105th highest-rated prospect overall.

Landing Prock early, which isn’t uncommon with quarterback recruits, would allow Indiana to start building around him on the offensive side of the ball.
