Narayana student Wins Gold at International Physics Olympiad 2026

Bringing immense pride to the nation and the academic community, Shresth Suraiya, a student of Narayana CO Campus, Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai, has won a Gold Medal at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026 held in Bucaramanga, Colombia.

Shresth was part of the five-member Indian contingent that created history by securing five Gold Medals, helping India achieve the World No. 1 Rank (Jointly) alongside China, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Korea, and Taiwan. The Olympiad witnessed participation from 381 students representing 87 countries.

To celebrate this extraordinary achievement, Narayana CO Campus organized felicitation ceremony for Shresth Suraiya. The event was attended by Mr. Jaysimha Reddy, Core Dean – Maharashtra, Mr. Bhushan J, Principal, faculty members, students, and staff. On this special occasion, Mr. Vishal Singh, the mentor who played a pivotal role in guiding Shresth towards this remarkable success, was also felicitated for his invaluable contribution.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries applauded the dedication, perseverance, and excellence demonstrated by both the student and his mentor. The achievement stands as a testament to Narayana's commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering academic excellence at the highest level. Dheer was also felicitated for his outstanding achievement of securing the All India Top Rank in the 'Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO)' and qualifying for the prestigious 'Orientation-cum-Selection Camp (OCSC)'. Though he narrowly missed the final Stage 4 selection, his exceptional performance, dedication, and perseverance were widely applauded.
