Florida State is setting the pace for blue-chip 2028 QB
· Yahoo Sports
Florida State clearly wants to get a jump start on the 2028 cycle. Quarterback is one of their top tagret areas, and four-star Chandler Dyson has emerged as the main focus at the position.
It's only been about a month, but FSU has clearly gotten off to a great start when it comes to recruiting Dyson. In fact, he mentioned that of all the programs he's visited over the last few months that Florida State has made the biggest impression so far.

Over weekend, Dyson attended the Under Armour Next 7-on-7 Camp in Florida which featured some of the top recruits around the country. When talking about where things stand in his recruitment, Dyson told 247Sports that FSU is the program that leads things currently.
QB Chandler Dyson has seen his offer sheet take off throughout the spring. Florida State started reaching out to him immediately June 15, and the Seminoles are definitely the pacesetters in this recruitment to start. Louisville, Oklahoma and North Carolina are three other standouts on the communication front early in this process.
The Seminoles can't let this momentum go to waste. They need to get Dyson on campus as much as possible during the regular season and continue to take his recruitment by the horns with schools like the Ole Miss Rebels, LSU Tigers, South Carolina Gamecocks, and Nebraska Cornhuskers also extending offers during the spring and summer.
Dyson is the nation's No. 181 recruit and the No. 12 quarterback per 247Sports composite rankings. He's listed as the No. 24 prospect in the state of Georgia as well.
