Roberts produced a team-high .396 batting average with 40 hits, 34 RBIs and 23 extra-base hits, including 10 home runs. Roberts was a 2026 Clarion Ledger Dandy Dozen, a Clarion Ledger's Large Class All-State team and MAIS All-State team.

Kevin Roberts Jr. strengths and weaknesses

The 17-year-old is slotted as the fourth-highest high school prospect in the state, according to MLB.com. Pro scouts praise Roberts' power at the plate, and his 6-foot-5 frame helps his bat speed and arm strength in the outfield.

Scouts would like to see Roberts not chase many fastballs outside of the strike zone and must improve on handling breaking balls.
