San Antonio Spurs play-by-play announcer Jacob Tobey is reportedly no longer with the organization following a viral social media scandal.

Earlier this week, Tobey's personal social media profile shared a series of Instagram stories stating that he "cheated" on his girlfriend of six years. The post tagged a woman whose brother, Lindy Waters III, played for the orgnization last season. The stories were quickly deleted, though screenshots surfaced across other platforms.
According to Ryan Glasspiegel from Front Office Sports, the announcer is no longer employed by the organization.

Tobey’s girlfriend posted about the alleged affair on his Instagram story in the middle of the night.
Just last month, Tobey announced that he signed a multi-year extension with the franchise.
He recently appeared on a list of 26 of the brightest rising stars in play-by-play announcers.
Neither the Spurs not Tobey have yet commented on the Front Office Sports report from Glasspiegel.
