NBA insider reveals important development in race to sign LeBron James

Many NBA teams, including the Golden State Warriors, are awaiting the free agent decision of LeBron James this summer. However, NBA insider Chris Haynes revealed an interesting development in James' decision-making process. According to Haynes, James isn't expected to meet with any teams.

Haynes elaborated on this by saying, "His agent Rich Paul is doing all the background work. He's talking with teams, and then in return he will relay all the intel and data to LeBron James, in which LeBron will make a decision." While it seemed like a given that James would entertain all six finalists with a meeting, it appears as though the 23-year veteran isn't looking to be pitched on a new home.

However, it is worth noting that a meeting between James and two-time MVP Stephen Curry was previously reported by NBA insider Brett Siegel. Whether or not that meeting took place has not yet been confirmed.
