A former Notre Dame legend is lashing out on social media.
Skylar Diggins is in her first season with the Chicago Sky and it does not seem to be going well. The Sky started the season with a 3-1 record however have gone 3-13 since and it appears are in for another rough campaign.

Thus far this season, Diggins has started all 19 games for the Sky and has not come off the bench for a team since 2016 when she did for the Dallas Wings. Leading up to Tuesday's game against the Phoenix Mercury, it seems as if Diggins was informed she lost her role as a starter and let the world know about it via her social media.
On Monday morning she posted on her Instagram story, "Now I'm coming off the bench?? Cool"
Sky head coach Tyler Marsh confirmed the decision to move Diggins to the bench but declined to elaborate further saying he would rather keep any conversations with players private.

The Sky shocked the WNBA world this offseason with a trade of franchise cornerstone Angel Reese which initially suggested a rebuild. However they brought in veterans suggesting it would be actually be a "reload" season. Sky star guard Courtney Vandersloot had been out all season but recently returned for the last three games and it looks like Marsh has decided to move Diggins off the bench and give Vandersloot more minutes.
Notre Dame fans know that Diggins is not someone who is not afraid to speak her mind. Her signing with the Chicago Sky this offseason was one of the surprises of the offseason, and now it appears there may be regret on both sides.
