During their visit, players from the entertaining professional exhibition baseball team interacted with patients through arts-and-crafts activities, a mini baseball game, and plenty of photo opportunities.

The Savannah Bananas are set to play games inside Kinnick Stadium on both Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. Iowa fans will be treated to their famed Banana Ball, which includes on-field antics such as choreographed dances, crazy rules, trick plays, fun props, and constant crowd interaction to keep fans engaged.

With temperatures expected to rise about 90 degrees, University of Iowa officials are implementing special event procedures to assist fans attending Savannah Bananas events this Friday and Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.

For those that don't have tickets to Friday's sold-out contest, the Savannah Bananas' Friday night date against the Firefighters will air at 7 p.m. CT on TruTV.
