Garrett Stallings made his MLB debut for the Brewers. He pitched one inning in relief and recorded one strikeout and 19 pitches, including 10 strikes, against five batters. The right-handed pitcher allowed one hit and one walk.
Chase Burns (10-1) started for the Reds and pitched six innings, earning his tenth win of the season. He totaled four strikeouts and 89 pitches (55 strikes) against 23 batters.
Stallings played for the Vols from 2017-19. He appeared 52 games, including 35 starts, and pitched 251.1 innings. The right-handed pitcher recorded 182 strikeouts, two saves and a 16-14 record.
He is from Grassfield High School in Chesapeake, Virginia.
