The Bruins reportedly will give up the 23rd overall selection in the 2026 NHL Draft, as well as a 2028 first-round pick acquired from the Florida Panthers.
Peterka is just 24-years-old. The Buffalo Sabres drafted him in the second round of the 2020 NHL Draft.
He was in the Sabres' lineup just two years later, playing 77 games in the 2022-23 season.
He started all 82 in 23-24, scoring a career high 28 goals.
Peterka then posted a career high 68 points for Buffalo in his age 23 season. He was then traded to the Mammoth in a deal that sent Michael Kesselring and Josh Doan to Western New York.
He played all 82 games last season as a top-six winger, scoring a respectable 25 goals.
Peterka is bringing over a five-year, $38.5 million contract with four years remaining.
The German native has 92 goals and 105 assists in 320 career NHL games.
