Defender Aden McCarthy was the first confirmed exit after completing a transfer to Sabah FK in Azerbaijan.
The 22-year-old signed a three-year contract and is expected to feature in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds next season.
Midfielder George Matlou was then released after Kaizer Chiefs opted not to renew his contract.
The latest departure is Happy Mashiane, who leaves the club after spending seven years with the senior team. Mashiane progressed through the Kaizer Chiefs youth academy before making his first-team breakthrough.
Regarding possible exits, reports suggest that the Soweto giants are still considering the future of Khanyisa Mayo. However, the original report appears to contain an inconsistency: Mayo is a player of CR Belouizdad, and there is no confirmed loan deal with Kaizer Chiefs.
Will Kaizer Chiefs keep Mayo?
According to reports, new assistant coach Fernando Da Cruz could assess Mayo’s situation during pre-season if the club pursues a permanent move.
Soccer Laduma reports that CR Belouizdad are currently serving a transfer ban. If the issue is not resolved, the Algerian club could decide to retain or recall Mayo as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
Since joining Kaizer Chiefs, Mayo has only netted two goals for the club having spent most of the season on the sidelines. Another season with the Glamour Boys might help him rediscover his form.
