The culmination of the state track and field meets at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.
The Muskingum Valley produced some of its best finishes in years with the divisional expansions, headed by the state championship of Zanesville senior hurdler Cam Willett.

Now it's time for you to pick our athlete of the year.
Here is a list of the candidates, in alphabetical order:
- Parker Andrews, River View — Overcame hip flexor injury to set school record at regional in 200 (:21.71); earned All-Ohio and reached state in four events. Won district title in 100 and 200.
- Kenzie Bice, Ridgewood — Helped 4x400 relay to stater runner-up finish in Division V and qualified for state in three events. Set school records in 200 and 400.
- Ashlynn Kuklica, John Glenn — State runner-up in 1600 in Division IV in 4:51.3; won 400, 1600 and 3200 at MVL meet and was runner-up in 800.
- Braylon Miller, Morgan — Division IV state runner-up and broke own MVL record holder in 400 at :48.48.
- Jaxson Prang, West M — Helped two relays earn All-Ohio Division V and was a regional qualifier in 100 and 200.
- Lydia Ripple, Tri-Valley — Finished third in Division III in 100 to break own school record for fourth time in 2026. The original record stood since 1993. Also won MVL and district titles in 100 and 200.
- Bella Van Wey, Maysville — Division IV state runner-up in shot and discus
- Cam Willett, Zanesville — Won Division III state title in 300 intermediate hurdles, won Licking County League title in 110 high hurdles. Owns school records in 300s.
