Vinicius Jr’s shot in the first half was saved by Haiti’s Placide, but reached Matheus Cunha, whose scrappy effort resulted in Brazil’s first goal.

The two combined again in a well-executed break which saw Vinicius Jr slip the ball through for the Manchester United attacker to make it two.

The Real Madrid winger made it three with a brilliant finish through Plicade’s legs, and ended the tie in the first half.

Vinicius Jr was a menace to Haiti’s defense all night long, and went off in the second half to get some deserved rest.

Brazil play Scotland in their final group game of the tournament, with the hopes of keeping their top spot in their group.
