World Cup fans are having a blast
· Yahoo Sports
Everyone wants to complain about the World Cup — and sure, there are a million things to rant about, but why waste any more time making every point of contention a reason to feel bad about the sport’s greatest event.
Let’s have some fun!
Visit afnews.co.za for more information.
Some fans are here — in North America — for the party. We have seen many examples so far of the fun (that Mexican duck!) and the not-so-fun (Argentina and Algeria trying to re-enact Gangs of New York), but overall fans are having a good time (at least that’s what it seems like).
Below, some Norway fans row their way up an escalator:

Give Erling Haaland some credit, too — and not just for his brace vs. Iraq. The Norwegian left some walkout boys completely starstruck and absolutely made their day:

Playing “Flip Cup” is a staple of any Philadelphia tailgate — you just don’t typically see groups of Ecuadorians and Ivorians doing battle:

Clearly, these guys were inspired by this:
Scottish fans are going above and beyond to make their presence felt:
Scotland fans have donated nearly $30,000 to charities in Providence as a thank you for welcoming them for their World Cup matches.

And, yeah, the Scots just know how to have a good time:

This Japan fan seems to be loving life, too:
