The announcement came Tuesday from Red River BMX and Oak View Group, which manages the Alerus Center on behalf of the city.
As noted in the announcement, Hugo's Raceway has hosted local, regional and national events while providing opportunities for youth of all ages to participate. It is located adjacent to the Alerus Center.
A celebration will be held to kick off the 2026 Red River Nationals at 1 p.m. on July 17 at Hugo's Raceway.
"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Red River BMX and Hugo's Raceway," Kristi Magnuson Nelson, president and CEO of Hugo's Family Marketplace, said in the announcement. "Over the past five years, we've seen firsthand the positive impact this facility has had on youth and families throughout our community. Supporting opportunities that encourage recreation and community engagement aligns perfectly with our mission, and we're excited to be part of Hugo's Raceway's future."
Red River BMX board member Danny Weigel said the organization is grateful for the commitment by Hugo's.
"Their support has helped us build and sustain a first-class facility that provides opportunities for all skill levels," he said. "This renewed partnership will allow us to continue investing in our programs, hosting high-quality events and creating memorial experiences for kids in our community."
