One player who could make sense for the Celtics, assuming they're willing to roll the dice on another wing, is Joshua Jefferson out of Iowa State. Jefferson is a four-year collegiate talent, meaning he will enter the NBA with a lower ceiling but higher floor. Simply put, he should be capable of earning a spot within the Celtics' rotation immediately, depending on how much competition is in front of him.

This past season, Jefferson suited up for 35 games, averaging 16.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists, shooting 34.5% from deep, 47.1% from the field and 70% at the free-throw line. If you're not familiar with Jefferson's game, the "How 'Bout Them Celtics?" podcast recently produced a deep dive into Jefferson's skill set, how he fits with Boston and what he needs to improve on once he enters the NBA.
