4 people charged after drug, firearm bust; Toronto cops nab accused murderers

Three people from Oshawa and one person from Clarington are facing multiple drug and firearm charges following a joint investigation involving Durham and Toronto police.

In April, Durham Regional Police launched Project Vista after two victims were threatened and assaulted with a firearm.
On June 3, a suspect was arrested after search warrants were executed at a Toronto residence. Drugs, a prohibited firearm magazine and ammunition were allegedly seized.
On June 4, an additional search warrant was executed at a residence in Oshawa where several individuals were taken into custody without incident. A loaded firearm, cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, hydromorphone, drug paraphernalia and cash were allegedly located and seized.
Dane Fairclough, 32, of Oshawa, is charged with assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, assault, pointing a firearm, forcible confinement and three counts of assault with a weapon.
Baldwin Oswald Clarke, 35, of Oshawa, is charged with forcible confinement, disobeying a court order, assault causing bodily harm, five firearms-related offences and five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Andria Schwab, 42, of Oshawa, is charged with forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm and five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Junior Ivan McKnight, 55, of Clarington, is charged with assault causing bodily harm and five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking .
