Is one player beginning to stand out in Colts wide receiver competition?

Through OTAs and two minicamp practices so far, Ashton Dulin continues to stand out as the Indianapolis Colts search for their third starting wideout.
In previous practices, Dulin has flashed as a red-zone target in the 7-on-7 periods. Then on Wednesday, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan noted that he made a contested red-zone catch while being covered by Sauce Gardner.

"Dulin just continues to show up," Bowen wrote.
Dulin is competing with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Laquon Treadwell, and Deion Burks for the WR3 role. Dulin has primarily been a special teams contributor over his career, but what he has on his side is experience, particularly within Shane Steichen's offense.
“He’s shown the capability to line up just about anywhere on the field," OC Jim Bob Cooter said of Dulin. "Whether that’s running routes, whether that’s kind of getting a little down and dirty in the blocking game … He’s a valuable player for us.”

Whether it be Dulin or someone else, no one player is expected to replace Michael Pittman's production. Rather, it will be a group effort.
