In the first quarter, Wembanyama did a little bit too much against Brunson. The 7-foot-4 center shoved the smaller guard down to the floor, and no foul was called. The Knicks star stayed composed and did not retaliate, which could have changed the mood in the arena.

Here are some of what the fans said about the Spurs star.
“Refs always conveniently miss these cheap shots that Wemby takes,” a fan said.
“The referees are not calling fouls on the Spurs as we expected, either way, the Knicks will come through !” another fan commented.
“Wemby is such a dirty player. 7’4″ and plays with a short man complex. KAT needs to knock him to the court. Especially if the refs are gonna keep conveniently missing these dirty plays,” one fan said.
“Hahaaa, Adam Silver’s golden boy just fouled hard as hell and no call???? Of course not 🤣🤣🤣” someone commented.
“HAHAHAHA WHAT IN THE WORLD HOW WAS THIS NOT REVIEWED,” a comment read.
“First the elbow to the throat now this, come on bro,” one fan commented.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only physical play that Brunson dealt with from Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs.

After Brunson dealt with a shove from Wembanyama, he had to deal with a push from second-year guard Stephon Castle.
Both guards tried to fight for position to rebound the basketball. However, Castle’s right forearm pushed Brunson to the ground. The Knicks guard was on the floor for a while and grabbed his back, and the officials had to review the play for a potential flagrant foul.
