The Knicks are very good. Very evil?

It appears so, because some professional wrestling fans believe the reason for the Knicks success is a curse.

No, not the typical curses you hear while walking around New York, we're talking about an actual curse.

Danhausen, WWE's resident ghoul who has supernatural powers, was feuding with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith heading into WrestleMania season, which was when the Knicks were starting their postseason schedule.

The wrestler Danhausen, who debuted in WWE this winter, as he's wont to do, put a curse on Smith's favorite team, the New York Knicks, who then lost two of their first three playoff games.

Danhausen might be a demon, but he's also reasonable. So after cursing the Knicks in the first round, he was offered human monies to reverse the curse.

He did. And the Knicks haven't lost since.

After winning the final three games of the Hawks series, the Knicks swept the Philadelphia 76ers, then the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now, they've won the first two games of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.

Tonight, he might have an up close look at the game.

While President Donald Trump will be at the game, he might be the second most important person in the building, at least from a Knicks perspective. Because according to PWInsider, Danhausen will be live in attendence tonight for Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Danhausen has become one of the biggest stars in World Wrestling Entertainment and he's brought as much success to the wrestling promotion as he has to the Knicks.

Over the weekend, the Las Vegas Knights got in on the action and paid Danhausen more human monies to curse the Carolina Hurricanes. Since the curse, the Knights are 1-0, winning in overtime in Game 3 to take a 3-0 lead.

Perhaps MLB teams should start pricing Danhausen's services.
