Bayern Munich president issues stern warning to Real Madrid amid Michael Olise pursuit
· Yahoo Sports
Florentino Perez won the Real Madrid presidential election on Sunday, thus opening the door for him to move for Michael Olise. The Bayern Munich and France winger is the mystery player that he promised to bid €150m for during his campaign, and in the coming days, it’s expected that the proposal will be sent to Bavaria.

Olise is seen as the ideal player to complete Real Madrid’s star-studded attacking line, which currently features Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe. However, the big problem is that Bayern have absolutely no intention of entertaining offers for one of their star players, and this stance has been reinforced again.
As per Diario AS, Bayern president Herbert Hainer was asked about Real Madrid’s reported interest in Olise, and his response could not be more clear: he’s not for sale.
“Michael Olise is a Bayern player and has a long-term contract. We are not a selling club. If Florentino Pérez wants to send us an offer, which has not happened so far, he can save himself the trouble. Sell Olise for €200m? We will not sell. We played this game for our fans. We have 430,000 members, we have millions of fans around the world, and it doesn’t help them much if we have €200m in the bank but we play worse football every Saturday because of it.”
Perez may need to find another Galactico signing

The fact that Perez has promised to spend €150m shows that Real Madrid have money in the bank to make signings. It does appear unlikely that these funds will be used on Olise, unless the player makes it very clear to Bayern that he wants to move to the Bernabeu this summer – as of yet, this has not happened.
It’ll be interesting to see whether Perez considers another star-studded option if it becomes clear that Bayern won’t play ball, but for now, his focus is on Olise.
