Vanderbilt baseball transfer portal tracker, who's in, who's out on 2027 roster
· Yahoo Sports
The transfer portal is open for Vanderbilt baseball.
From June 1-30, players have the opportunity to enter the transfer portal. Players do not need to commit within that window, only by the end of the summer when classes start for the fall.
Visit freshyourfeel.org for more information.
The Commodores are expected to have multiple transfer portal entries while attempting to rebuild their roster from the 2026 team that missed the NCAA Tournament. Vanderbilt also generally brings in 5-10 players from the portal. This year, starting pitching is a particular need, but the Commodores also need a second baseman, multiple outfielders and more catching depth.
Notable players who have transferred out of Vanderbilt in recent years include Ethan McElvain and Camden Kozeal, who both left for Arkansas, and RJ Hamilton, who went to Duke. Notable transfers into Vanderbilt in recent years include pitchers Sawyer Hawks, Cody Bowker and Connor Fennell and infielder Mike Mancini.
