LINCOLN, NE — Ole Miss baseball third baseman Judd Utermark is taking the title of home run king into the NCAA Tournament.

He hit his 50th career home run on May 29 in Ole Miss' 14-inning win over Arizona State earlier in the regional.
Ole Miss honored Utermark with a video tribute after he broke the record. The 6-foot-5 slugger is a four-year Ole Miss player from Charlotte, North Carolina, who has been a huge contributor over the past two seasons.
Utermark hit two home runs as a freshman and five as a sophomore. He led the Rebels with 22 home runs in 2025 as a junior. He has 21 home runs this season and is the first Rebel to have back-to-back seasons with 20 homers.
Utermark is projected to be selected in the second half of the 2026 MLB Draft.
