· Yahoo Sports
Jack Draper has made a notable addition to his team, bringing in Andy Murray ahead of the grass-court season.
Draper is currently recovering from a knee tendon injury and was forced to pull out of Roland Garros. Despite the setback, he’s targeting a return in time for the grass swing.

In another change, Draper split with Jamie Delgado and turned to Murray, who hasn’t held a coaching role on the ATP Tour since working with Novak Djokovic last year.
Murray’s former teammate spoke about the move and offered some insight into what Draper can expect from his new coach.

“I was not surprised. I knew they had a great relationship, and Andy rates him and thinks he’s so good, so I’m happy for them, and I’m excited to see Andy on the tour.
“I really like to see him back, and I know how much he loves tennis. It will be probably tough for his handicap in golf to be back on the tour.
“He’s not going to be able to play as much! But I think he’s got so much experience, so many big matches he played, and he was world No.1. Amazing for Jack, amazing for Andy, and I’m not surprised, and good pick I will say.
“I would love to have him, but I’m really set with my two coaches, but I just love to spend time with Andy in general.
Norrie has spent plenty of time around Murray over the years and has always valued his insight.
“I’m always asking him questions, he’s so funny, so I’ve got a lot of time for Andy. I’m happy to be spending time around him and talking to him so of course I would like that,” Norrie added.
Jack Draper’s ATP Tour results in 2024
Draper started the year on the sidelines due to a long-term arm injury, but made his return at the Davis Cup in February, where he picked up a win for Great Britain.
He then exited in the second round of the Dubai Tennis Championships before beginning his title defence at Indian Wells.
Draper managed to beat Djokovic during that event but was later knocked out by Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-finals.
After that loss, he fell to Reilly Opelka in the second round of the Miami Open, marking an early exit from that tournament as well.
His most recent appearance came at the Barcelona Open, where he suffered an injury during his opening match.
