Many of Indiana’s biggest celebrities turned out to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the race. In fact, WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark, a member of the Indiana Fever, served as the Grand Marshal.

One of Clark’s most well-known teammates, Lexie Hull, made her presence felt as well. She walked the red carpet in a colorful racing jacket and cut-off jean shorts.

“Hey, Fever fans. It’s Lexie Hull here,” Hull said, per the Fever on X. “We are here at the Indy 500 on the red carpet. So excited for race day.”

Hull told WIBC Radio that it was her second trip to the Indianapolis 500 after attending last year.

“You can just feel the energy, the buzz. It’s only like 8:30 [a.m.], and people are already here. So it’s awesome,” Hull said.

Hull even made it onto the track to pose for a photo with driver Katherine Legge. Legge is attempting to become the first woman to complete The Double, completing the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 in one day.

Curiously, Legge didn’t make it out for driver introductions, possibly conserving every last ounce of energy for the 1,100 miles of racing she hopes to accomplish.

Solid contributor for Fever

Hull is in her fifth season with Indiana after the Fever took her sixth overall in the 2022 WNBA Draft. She is averaging 7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1 assist per game for Indiana, which is 4-2.

The highlight of Hull’s season so far came on May 20 during a 90-73 victory over the Portland Fire. She hit all four of her 3-point attempts and all four of her free throws for 16 points. She added eight rebounds.

In 2025, Hull played all 44 games for a Fever squad that suffered several long-term injuries. She recorded 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

Indiana travels to meet the Golden State Valkyries at 10 p.m. ET Thursday.
