Arizona Cardinals OL Isaiah Adams has something to prove
· Yahoo Sports
The Arizona Cardinals are in the final phase of their offseason program with OTAs. It is still voluntary, but it is the first offense vs. defense action. There is actual competition now, as they can go 7-on-7 or 11-on-11.

Some players enter this year with something extra to prove because of how the roster looks right now.
One such player is guard Isaiah Adams.
OL Isaiah Adams has something to prove
The writing is on the wall for Adams. Drafted in the third round in 2024, he was the team's starting right guard to start and end last season. He ended his rookie year as the starter at right guard.
He got benched when Will Hernandez got healthy but finished the year playing much better.
However, the Cardinals made moves at guard. They signed Isaac Seumalo to a three-year deal in free agency. He presumably will start at left guard. Then, they selected Chase Bisontis in the second round of the draft last month. He projects as the starting right guard.
Where does that leave Adams? He must compete for a spot on the roster as a backup, or somehow beat out Bisontis.
He doesn't have a guaranteed spot on the roster with a new coaching staff. He might be a potential trade candidate, but he will need to show value this offseason and in the preseason to continue his NFL career.
