Insider's latest update on Chiefs WR: 'He's currently in a jail cell'
· Yahoo Sports
NFL insider Adam Schefter gave a grim update about Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice during an appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show' this week.
Yesterday, Schefter reported that Rice had recently undergone a surprise offseason knee surgery, and also that the star wideout had been sentenced to jail after violating his probation — the terms he agreed to after a highly-publicized 2024 car crash in Dallas, Texas that resulted in felony charges against him.

In Schefter's latest update, it was revealed that Rice is "currently in a jail cell."
Take a look at Schefter's full report on Rice in this video, which was posted to Pat McAfee's official Twitter account:
"Rashee Rice did not know that he was going to be going to jail for thirty days..

If he did there's no way that he would have had the knee surgery that he did last week..

Now likely to miss much of Kansas City's offseason training program, Rice will have to recover from his surprise offseason surgery without the assistance of the Chiefs' medical staff, and may also face fines from the team for his absence from mandatory activities.
