The annual scouting event tipped off on Monday at the Wintrust Arena, with 70-plus prospects taking part in measurement testing. Players will also undergo strength and agility testing, shooting drills and other exercises throughout the week-long event.
In all, 41 players have reportedly agreed to play 5-on-5 at the draft combine, according to Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report. The field of participants includes several potential first-round picks, including Carr, Ryan Conwell, Tarris Reed Jr. and Dailyn Swain.

Carr was named to the All-Big 12 third team, averaging 18.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting 37.4% from 3-point range in 34 games. He finished with 642 points, the fifth-most in a season in program history.
The 21-year-old is currently projected to be a mid-to-late first-round pick after a productive year, in which he set the program scoring record for a sophomore. While his 3-point shooting stood out, Carr flourished as an overall scorer, mixing in shots from all three levels.
The combine this year marks the third time prospects will be required to participate in drills and other testing, as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement. Prospects can be ruled ineligible to be drafted if they skip certain portions without sufficient reasoning.
