Giants coach John Harbaugh on Saturday offered an update on where things stand with once-great wide receiver Odell Beckham.

Will the Giants and Beckham get together for a fascinating reunion?

Bottom line: Nothing is imminent — and it might not happen at all.

Those were the big takeaways from Harbaugh’s comments after the second practice of the Giants’ three-day rookie minicamp.

“I talked to Odell probably three or four times in the last week — where he’s at, where we’re at," Harbaugh said. “He’s in Arizona right now training. The goal for right now is for him to train and get as ready as he can be. And then we’ll see where we’re at, at that time.

“For Odell — and this is the conversation that we had — it’s got to be right for both parties. Odell wants to be the kind of player that can make a difference. I’m pretty sure that he could make a team in the National Football League right now.

“But can he make a difference? And is it something he wants to do? And is his body going to hold up the way he wants it to? All those things are questions that need to get answered — for anybody at that age. You know Odell. He’s confident, man. He’s working hard, and he believes in himself.

“I think we’ll just play it out over the next month and into training camp — and then see where we’re at."

The Giants won’t have their current top two outside receivers — Malik Nabers (torn ACL) and Darius Slayton (core muscle surgery) — at least for spring practices. Their status for training camp remains unclear. It seems like Slayton will be ready for the start of that, while Nabers likely won’t be.

At this point, you have to wonder: Will Nabers — the Giants’ clear-cut No. 1 receiver — be ready for Week 1?

Ultimately, even though Beckham is no longer a No. 1 threat, a reunion with the Giants would have to be about more than him providing another warm body during the spring and summer.

He would have to produce as a depth piece during the season, even with the draft addition of intriguing outside receiver Malachi Fields.

Immediately after the draft, Harbaugh — who calls personnel shots for the Giants — said a Beckham reunion remained on the table.

Beckham is not a difference maker at this stage, but his return to East Rutherford would bring plenty of headlines, at least.

Harbaugh said in late March he would be open to a reunion with Beckham, even though the 33-year-old receiver is a shell of his former self. Harbaugh and Beckham remain friendly from the receiver’s brief time with the coach in Baltimore.

Beckham has made it clear he wants to finish his career with the Giants, after opening it as a star in East Rutherford.

And if Harbaugh can get Beckham on an affordable contract, perhaps a reunion makes sense, with Beckham providing some depth.

Beckham hasn’t had a highly productive season since 2019 with the Browns (1,035 yards and four touchdowns).

With Harbaugh in Baltimore in 2023, Beckham had 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns. Beckham was out of the league last year, partly because of a six-game suspension (performance-enhancing drugs).

Of course, he opened his career as a star with the Giants from 2014-18, as the No. 12 overall draft pick.

His Giants numbers remain impressive — 390 catches, 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns.
