The Seattle Seahawks made a very interesting pick at No. 32 in the 2026 NFL Draft, selecting Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price.
Price, who many viewed as a potential first-round pick, will likely get the bulk of the snaps now that Kenneth Walker is with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Price wasn't the best running back on his own Notre Dame team, but he's still a very impressive player, posting 674 yards on 113 carries, including 11 touchdowns a season ago for the Irish.
Price will also be paid handsomely for his services, with Spotrac noting that he'll be on a $16.7 million deal over four years.
Speaking to reporters, he didn't sound surprised that Seattle went in that direction. He stated that the Seahawks had a lot of interest in him throughout the draft process, and that he's very blessed to play with the Seahawks.
"I try not to listen to the noise and media and everything, but I knew that Seattle was pretty interested in me," Price said on a conference call, per the Seahawks. "They knew the type of player I was, what I bring to the program. I didn't know exactly what was going to happen, but I'm so blessed to be in this position and be picked by the Seattle Seahawks."
Hopefully, things will work out.
