There were several top performers across the state in boys high school sports, but only one can be voted as the Clarion Ledger athlete of the week for April 20-25.

Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

Crews Albritton, Tri-County Academy: Albritton had a home run with two RBIs in Tri-County Academy's 12-0 win against Oak Hill Academy.

Cooper Giger, Petal: Giger pitched 6⅔ innings with 12 strikeouts and no earned runs in Petal's 9-3 win against Ocean Springs.

Cooper Hooks, Brandon: Hooks pitched seven innings with 10 strikeouts and no runs in Brandon's 3-0 win against St. Martin.

Jackson Schuler, Kosciusko: Schuler had three hits with a home run and four RBIs in Kosciusko's sweep against New Albany.

Kolby Stringer, West Marion: Stringer pitched seven innings with 17 strikeouts and allowed one hit and no runs in West Union's 3- 0 win against Seminary.

Ashby Rayburn, Germantown: Rayburn had five hits with two RBIs in Germantown's sweep against Hernando.
