Ryan Spann is finding his form at heavyweight after putting away Marcus Buchecha at UFC Fight Night 274.

Spann (24-11 MMA, 10-6 UFC) defended takedowns well then loaded up a gigantic right hand that floored Buchecha (5-3-1 MMA, 0-2-1 UFC) for the knockout at 2:10 mark of Round 2. The bout opened Saturday's main card at Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

With two victories in three fights since moving up from light heavyweight, Spann is finding some momentum.
"I wanted to take the time. We got this call three weeks ago," Spann said in his post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier.
After the interview, Cormier called Spann "a threat" at heavyweight.
