The Cincinnati Bengals made one of the biggest moves of the offseason, trading for Dexter Lawrence over the weekend. Lawrence, one of the top players in the NFL, will now have a new home in a super-competitive AFC North.

Not only will he have an opportunity to win games at a very high level if the Bengals can stay healthy, but he'll get to play with one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, something he hasn't been able to say yet in his career due to Jaxson Dart being as young as he was last season.

Now with Joe Burrow, Lawrence understands that he's with one of the top quarterbacks not just in his conference, but the entire NFL. It sounds like he has a lot of hope about what Burrow will be with him on the roster.

“You know, for the longest, I’ve been thinking he’s one of the top quarterbacks in the league, if not the top,” Lawrence said, per the team. “It’s going to be fun to share a field with him and to watch him up close, to see how he prepares, how he studies, how he leads guys and gets guys going. I’m excited for that part of it.”

While the addition of Lawrence doesn't directly impact Burrow, as he plays on the defensive side of the ball, it could also help the star quarterback. 

The Bengals' defense has been one of the worst in the NFL over the past few seasons, and now having one of the better defensive players in the NFL should help Burrow and Cincinnati win more games.
