The Penguins will attempt to shake off the sting of a Game 1 loss to the Flyers and get their first win of the 2026 NHL Playoffs on Monday night.

Philadelphia outplayed Pittsburgh in the opening game of the first-round series, securing a 3-2 victory at PPG Paints Arena and stealing home-ice advantage. Pens head coach Dan Muse gave the Flyers credit, but he knows that his team can deliver a much better performance in Game 2.

7:50 p.m. — A lot of action, but no goals in the first period.

7:35 p.m. — After three straight penalties, we are back to — oh, never mind. Nick Seeler's roughing penalty will put the Penguins back on the power play with seven minutes left in the first period.

7:30 p.m. — Rasmus Ristolainen battles Sidney Crosby along the boards and takes the puck to the net, but Penguins goaltender Stuart Skinner makes the save. Ristolainen then appears to throw a punch at Crosby. That should be another penalty.

7:25 p.m. — Tyson Foerster heads to the box for high sticking, but Erik Karlsson joins him seconds later for tripping. We've got 4-on-4 hockey.

7:20 p.m. — A lot of energy from the Penguins to start the game, but they haven't tested Flyers goaltender Dan Vladar just yet.
