JEE Main 2026 Session 2: The National Testing Agency is all set to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2026 Exam Tomorrow. Session 2 will take place from April 1st to April 10th, 2026, according to the official announcement.

The JEE Main Session 2 admit cards are now available on the official website and must be brought to the examination hall without fail. Failure to bring the JEE Main Admit Card for Session 2 will not allow entry into the examination hall.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam: Important Exam Dates

Morning Shift

Reporting Time: 7:00 AM

Instructions by Invigilator: 8:30 AM – 8:50 AM

Login to Read Instructions: 8:50 AM

Exam Starts: 9:00 AM

Exam Ends: 12:00 Noon

Afternoon Shift

Reporting Time: 1:00 PM

Instructions by Invigilator: 2:30 PM – 2:50 PM

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam: Documents To Carry On Exam Day

Candidates can check out the important documents required to be carried on the exam day:

  • JEE Main 2026 Session 2  Admit Card

  • Any Valid Government-Approved ID proof, such as the Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, or Driving License, has to be carried for verification.

  • Two Passport-size Photographs.

  • Photo verification certificate - Only for those candidates who have received an email from NTA.

  • Self-Declaration Form:
    Candidates must complete the first page of the admit card, attach a photograph, and include their left thumb impression. It must be signed only at the exam center, in front of the invigilator.

  • Non-Aadhaar Declaration Form:
    Candidates who registered with PAN, passport, or voter ID must complete the "Declaration for Non-Aadhaar Candidates" on page 4 of the admit card.

The candidate may contact the NTA Help Line immediately between 10:00 a.m. And 5:00 p.m in case of any issues.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam: Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates should make sure to follow the exam day guidelines on the day of the JEE Main 2026 Exam.

  • Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the reporting time specified on the admit card.

  • Make sure to write your name and roll number on the top of the rough sheets provided and turn them in before leaving the examination hall.

  • Fill out all of the required information on the attendance sheet, including your signature, left-hand thumb impression, and photograph in the designated space.

  • Make sure your thumb impression is clear and not smudged.

  • Do not bring any prohibited items into the examination hall, including notes, electronic devices, calculators, and similar materials.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam: Dress Code For Men and Women 

For Men 

What to Wear:

  • Lightweight cotton shirts and T-shirts.

  • Plain jeans or simple trousers (no large pockets, metallic studs, or chains).

  • Simple slippers, floaters, or open-toed sandals with a low sole.

What To Avoid:

  • Clothing with metallic zippers, large buttons, badges, or metal-threaded embroidery.

  • Caps, hats, belts, or other accessories.

  • Jewelry: rings, bracelets, watches (digital or analogue), neck chains.

For Women

What to Wear:

  • Lightweight cotton tops or kurtis.

  • Plain jeans, trousers, or simple skirts (basic design, no heavy decorations).

  • Simple sandals, slippers, or low-sole open-toe footwear.

What to Avoid:

  • Clothes with metallic zippers, large buttons, badges, or metal-threaded embroidery.

  • Caps, hats, belts, or other accessories.

  • Jewellery: rings, bracelets, watches, neck chains, earrings, or bangles.
