Wisconsin is making its 28th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, but it’s only its third in the last 12 years, as it’ll face Dartmouth for the first time in program history.

The Badgers, who went 21-12-2 this season, had a quick first-round exit in the Big Ten Tournament to the Ohio State Buckeyes, but they finished the regular season strong with three wins in their last four games. That included a 4-1 win over the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines and a sweep on the road of the No. 6 Penn State Nittany Lions.

The strong end to conference play was key for their bid, and they’ll now look to Worcester, with a rematch against the Michigan State Spartans, whom the Badgers beat twice on the road this year, on the line in the regional finals.

After a down year last year, Mike Hastings has brought his squad back to the NCAA Tournament, and he will hope to capitalize the most from this squad and make a run here.

The Frozen Four will begin on April 9th, with the Championship Game set for April 11th. Here are all the teams in this year’s field.
