The New York Mets certainly seem like a franchise that's destined to have a weird injury from time to time. They certainly had one on Saturday.
Veteran outfielder Mike Tauchman was simply running out to his position during Spring Training action, but he never made it.
Tauchman clearly felt pain in his lower leg, and the visual will lead there to be concern about something with his Achilles.

This would be a major bummer for Tauchman, who hit well the last couple seasons with the White Sox and was set to make Mets' roster, probably as a reserve outfielder.
If he has to miss time, it ensures even more so that Carson Benge will start every day. It makes backup Tyrone Taylor more important, too.
The Mets can't have nice things, apparently.
They'll be hoping it's not as bad as it looked for Tauchman, but it's tough to know.
And even if it's not too bad, it's a very Mets-y injury for it to happen like this.
