UFC Fight Night 269 results: Gillian Robertson outworks Amanda Lemos

Gillian Robertson's superior grappling was the difference in extending her winning streak to five vs. Amanda Lemos in the UFC Fight Night 269 co-main event.

Robertson (17-8 MMA, 14-6 UFC) racked up more than enough control time in the second and third rounds of the strawweight bout to earn a unanimous decision over Lemos (15-6-1 MMA, 9-6 UFC) on Saturday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Robertson won the fight with 29-28 scores from all three judges.

"It's five wins in a row, I have the most wins of any women, the most finishes of any women, the most submission of any women," Robertson said in her post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. "All I need is that belt."

The opening round saw Lemos defend the grappling advances of Robertson well. She reversed some positions and landed some elbow strikes while against the fence without absorbing any damage of her own.

Robertson found far more success in Round 2. She took Lemos down in the first minute and pressure from half guard, side control and other positions while peppering the Brazilian with some short ground-and-pound.

Lemos showed more resistance in stopping the takedown in the early stages of Round 3, but eventually Robertson got what she wanted and closed out the final stages of the fight in top position.
